FLocal is a Florida local discovery, rewards, and shopping platform operated by Adams Trading Company. We respect your privacy and collect only the information necessary to operate, improve, secure, and maintain the platform experience for both consumers and participating businesses.

Information We May Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, saved businesses, Passport activity, promo redemptions, search activity, notification preferences, business interactions, optional shopping or order activity, and general app usage information. Business accounts may also provide listing details, photos, events, promotions, hours, product/catalog information, register-related business data, and contact information.

Location Information

FLocal may use location information for nearby search, map features, and Passport Loyalty check-ins. Precise location access is only requested when a user chooses to use a location-based feature, such as claiming a Passport Stamp or discovering nearby businesses.

Passport Loyalty & Promotions

FLocal may track Passport check-ins, reward redemptions, promo usage, customer push-alert engagement, and related activity in order to operate the Passport Loyalty Program, VIP rewards, exclusive offers, and business promotional systems. Businesses may view engagement activity connected to their listings and tools.

Push Notifications

Users who opt into notifications may receive business promotions, exclusive-offer alerts, Passport updates, loyalty notifications, and platform-related alerts. Notification preferences may be disabled through browser or device settings at any time.

Business Listings & Content

Participating businesses provide their own listing details, events, promotions, photos, descriptions, products, catalog details, and hours. Promotions, events, products, prices, availability, and redemption rules may change or contain business-specific limitations.

Storefront, Register & Payments

Where FLocal Storefront, in-app shopping, Open Register, or payment tools are available, we may process information needed to support carts, orders, receipts, business sales records, and checkout status. Payment details are handled by third-party processors such as Stripe where applicable; FLocal does not need to store full card numbers to provide these tools.

How We Use Information

Information is used to operate the platform, improve discovery and rewards features, manage business listings, process promotions and Passport activity, support optional shopping/register tools, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain platform security and moderation systems.

Third-Party Services

FLocal may use third-party providers including payment processors, authentication systems, hosting providers, mapping tools, and push notification services in order to operate the platform securely and reliably.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect account information and platform data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should use strong passwords and secure devices when accessing the platform.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically as FLocal evolves and new features are introduced. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
